The Masai Mara in Kenya is the northern extension of the great Serengeti ecosystem that begins deep in Tanzania, and is home to one of the greatest proliferations of large mammals on earth .

The Mara is world-famous for its immense quantity and quality of wildlife – and in particular, for the wildebeest migration.
